WHS Excited to Welcome Fairfax Police Helipad Field Trip!

WHS is extremely excited to add the Fairfax County Police Helicopter Division to our list of field trips! The Fairfax County Police Helicopter Division provides tactical police aviation support, aeromedical evacuation, search and rescue, and other specialized air support as needed within Fairfax County and the National Capital Region to enhance public safety and welfare.

WHS tours will explore the technology and engineering used for the helicopters, allow students to see and explore the helicopters used by the PD, and meet the law enforcement officers that work in the division. Learn more about their work here.
